Guided by the Empyrean Miquella, players are drawn into the Land of Shadow, a place overshadowed by the Erdtree — where the goddess Marika first set foot. In this strange new land, players uncover dark secrets and encounter others who follow Miquella’s path, each with their own motives.
Shadow of the Erdtree transports players into a completely new world outside the Lands Between. Travel seamlessly across vast maps filled with diverse environments and intricately crafted dungeons where dangerous enemies lurk.
The expansion introduces new weapons, equipment, weapon skills and sorceries not found in the base game, along with new enemies, boss battles and storylines — offering even more RPG freedom. Face new dangers using the powers you gain throughout your journey.
The Shadow of the Erdtree Edition bundles the Elden Ring base game with the massive Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The base game is required to play the DLC.
The base game is included as a disc. A single download code for Shadow of the Erdtree works on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, or Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
