Resident Evil Village is the direct sequel to Resident Evil 7 biohazard and continues the story of Ethan Winters. Several years after Ethan managed to rescue his wife Mia, the couple have built a new life together with their daughter Rose. Their peaceful existence comes to an abrupt end when Chris Redfield suddenly appears, dragging Ethan into another terrifying nightmare.
Following a series of shocking events, Ethan finds himself in a remote, snow-covered region where a mysterious village and enormous castle await him. As he searches for his kidnapped daughter Rose, he gradually uncovers the dark secrets surrounding this strange place. The classic survival horror of Resident Evil is combined with intense first-person combat and new gameplay possibilities. Ethan can block incoming attacks and push enemies away to gain valuable time.
