In Astral Chain for Nintendo Switch, step into a futuristic adventure from PlatinumGames. As a member of a special police task force, your mission is to fight mysterious alien-like creatures invading the world from another dimension. Investigate strange incidents, protect the city's inhabitants and dive into fast-paced action combat.
The story takes place in The Ark, a multicultural city in the near future. When gates to another dimension suddenly begin to appear, the city is attacked by dangerous creatures known as Chimeras. The regular police force is unable to deal with the threat, leading to the deployment of the special police task force known as Neuron.
As a Neuron officer, you gain access to a Legion: a special creature that fights alongside you in battle. You and your Legion can attack simultaneously and combine different actions. Use your connection to restrain enemies, unleash powerful attacks and take advantage of tactical possibilities during spectacular battles.
Throughout your adventure, you'll gain access to different types of Legions, each with their own unique abilities. Their special skills aren't only useful during combat, but can also help you investigate the environment and overcome obstacles. Switch between your Legions and decide which abilities are best suited to each situation.
Alongside the intense combat, you'll carry out investigations throughout The Ark as a police officer. Talk to residents, search for clues and use your Legion's abilities to uncover more about mysterious incidents. Astral Chain combines fast-paced action with investigation and exploration in a futuristic world.
