Step into the world of the popular Netflix animated film with Monopoly - KPop Demon Hunters! In this special edition of the classic board game, everything revolves around music, performances and collecting fans. Play with characters, locations and themes from KPop Demon Hunters as you compete to build the biggest fanbase by the end of the game.
Monopoly - KPop Demon Hunters includes:
- 1 gameboard
- 6 playing tokens
- 6 power cards
- 16 venue cards
- 16 HUNTR/X cards
- 16 Saja Boys cards
- 9 song cards
- 1 numbered die
- 1 labelled action die
- 90 cardboard fan chips
- 1 game guide
Instead of traditional streets, you purchase iconic venues where you can rehearse for your next performance. The usual Monopoly money has also been replaced with fans. The more venues you own, the more opportunities you have to collect fans from other players. Whoever has the most fans at the end of the game wins!
At the beginning of the game, choose one of six playing tokens: Rumi, Mira, Zoey, Jinu, Derpy Tiger or Bobby. Each character has a unique special ability that can help you throughout the game. Your choice therefore influences how you play and which advantages you can use during your turns.
As you move around the board, your goal is to purchase as many venues as possible. Whenever another player lands on a venue you own, they must pay you a rehearsal fee in the form of fans. This allows you to gradually grow your fanbase while trying to stay ahead of your opponents.
Performances play an important role in Monopoly KPop Demon Hunters. Every time you land on or pass GO, you perform a song. Roll the dice to find out whether you impress the crowd or your performance falls flat. A successful performance can reward you with an additional bonus.
Alongside purchasing venues, the game includes special cards inspired by the world of KPop Demon Hunters. HUNTR/X cards, Saja Boys cards, song cards and unique character abilities give this edition its own gameplay features while retaining the familiar foundations of Monopoly.
Monopoly KPop Demon Hunters is suitable for 2 to 6 players aged 8 and over. Enjoy it as a two-player game or with a larger group during family game night. By combining Monopoly with characters from the Netflix film, this edition is particularly appealing to fans of KPop Demon Hunters.
