In Unicorn Overlord for PS5, you defy fate and embark on a royal adventure where you and your allies reclaim your rightful power!
As a player, you enter a strategic role-playing game set on the fictional continent of Fevrith. Follow the story of the exiled prince Alain as he gathers an army from the five kingdoms of Fevrith to reclaim his throne from the rebellious general Valmore.
During exploration, you’ll guide Alain across a world map, visiting cities and using services such as blacksmiths and merchants to equip your army while taking part in both story and optional battles.
In territories you don’t control, enemy creatures in the form of Sprites roam freely across the world map. All characters, locations, and sprites are presented in beautiful 2D style. The open map allows you to freely explore and approach events in any order you choose.
Combat in the game is divided into two phases: moving your troops across vast battlefields and engaging in battles when two units meet. Although combat unfolds in real time, you can pause at any moment to adjust your strategy and command your forces. Battlefields range from open plains to urban settings, with formations composed of multiple units of specific character classes. Players can choose from three difficulty levels, and over time, a separate online multiplayer arena unlocks — independent of the main story.
