Everything changed when humanity discovered the Moon Cell Automaton, a mysterious supercomputer hidden on the moon. This powerful machine created SE.RA.PH, a digital world where 128 Masters compete for the Holy Grail, an almighty device capable of granting any wish. Each Master forms a contract with a Servant, a digital incarnation of a historical hero or legendary figure. You awaken in this virtual world without any memories and are forced to participate in the deadly Moon Holy Grail War. Together with your Servant, you must defeat rival combatants, uncover the truth behind the conflict and find a way to regain your freedom.
Form a contract with one of three available Servants: Saber, Archer or Caster. Each Servant offers a distinctive fighting style, unique characteristics and special abilities that influence how you experience the adventure. Explore expansive dungeons, confront dangerous enemies and strengthen the bond between Master and Servant. As your relationship develops, you will unlock new cards and abilities while discovering more about the history, personality and hidden desires of your heroic companion.
Fate/EXTRA Record introduces a completely redesigned battle system that combines traditional turn-based RPG combat with strategic deckbuilding. Collect new cards, develop powerful combinations and carefully decide which actions to perform during every encounter. Unique abilities for both Master and Servant provide additional opportunities to adapt your strategy against different opponents. Plan your moves ahead, make the most of your Servant's strengths and use clever card combinations to defeat the other participants in the Moon Holy Grail War.
The original story of Fate/EXTRA has been completely revised and expanded with additional narrative layers and deeper character development. Its familiar world has been rebuilt with modern graphics, enhanced character designs and detailed environments that bring SE.RA.PH to life. The remake also features fully voiced dialogue with entirely new Japanese voice recordings and an epic, newly arranged soundtrack. Uncover the secrets of the Moon Cell Automaton and experience one of the most important stories in the Fate universe in a completely new way.
