Far Cry 5 for PS4 takes place in the peaceful yet unsettling Hope County, Montana. This fictional region has been taken over by Eden’s Gate, a dangerous cult led by the charismatic Joseph Seed. You step into the role of a new sheriff’s deputy who is determined to turn the tide. Explore a beautiful but dangerous landscape as you fight to liberate Hope County.
Far Cry 5 offers an incredible amount of freedom. Explore the open world on foot, by vehicle or from the air. Team up with resistance allies or head out on your own. The choices you make influence the story and how the conflict unfolds. Whether you prefer a direct assault or a stealthier approach, the choice is entirely yours.
In addition to the main missions, Far Cry 5 offers countless side activities. Go fishing in peaceful lakes, hunt wild animals or take part in exciting battles. There is always something to do in Hope County, giving you plenty of reasons to keep playing for hours.
For the first time, you can play through the full story in co-op mode. Team up with a friend to take down Eden’s Gate or challenge each other in online multiplayer. This adds an extra layer of fun and challenge to the game.
